From the time I was about five years old, I’ve been fascinated with the writing universe. In fact, one of my favorite pictures is of me writing in my very first journal, my parents watching from the couch behind me. After that, I was obsessed with pencils, paper, envelopes, stamps, books-anything even slightly related to my favorite hobby, my heart would long for.

Years ago, it seemed plain stick pens were the only option available. One of my first “real” jobs after college was in a hospital. Since I wasn’t a doctor or nurse, I wasn’t first in line for the promos, but usually a few of the promo pens would filter on down to me and my co-workers. I remember being giddy anytime I was in the office when such goodies were delivered.

Free pens! I knew it was hugely nerdy for me to be so excited about such a thing, but excited I was. And I was even more delighted to find out how good the quality of these promotional ink pens was.
