First the Monitor:

Damp a paper towel or a soft, lint-free cloth with water. You can also try a monitor cleaning product that can be purchased at computer-supply stores. Wipe the screen gently to remove dust and fingerprints. Never wipe or spray the back of the monitor.  Don’t forget with any spray liquid you use that you shouldn’t computer directly, spray the cloth instead.

Next there is the Keyboard:

First turn the keyboard upside down and gently shake it. Most of the crumbs and dust that’s been stuck in there will fall out. Use a can of compressed air and blow around the keys. Next, take a cotton swab and just barely dip it in rubbing alcohol. Run the cotton swab around the outside of the keys and on the top of the key. Do this once a month.

Finally Mouse Pad and Mouse:

When you clean your mouse pad cleaning fluid can get on the keyboard or other hardware so clean your mouse pad away from the desktop area.  Depending on the material, there are different types of cleaners you could use. Surface solvents are good for vinyl or non-fabric mouse pads. For mouse pads with fabric a less stringent cleaner is better, even just soap and water.  Scrub the mouse pad until all the build-up and hard clumps of dirt are off the surface. Rinse all cleaners off of the surface and let the mouse pad dry.

For the mouse you have to wipe the top and bottom of your mouse with a towel dipped in rubbing alcohol. Next, open the back and remove the ball and then rinse the ball with water and let it air dry. To clean inside the mouse, dip a cotton swab in alcohol and wipe all of the components. Finally, blow air into the opening. Replace the ball and the cover.
